Who's The Fool Now?

This is the first album by General Humbert, an Irish folk band of the late '70s. There were lots of them around, some better than others, but this particular one was the recording debut of Mary Black - one of the greatest female voices to come out of Ireland (along with the Ni Dhomhnaill sisters, of course).

More details to follow but I have't got time right now...

What a wonderful web site! I didn't know anyone else could get so obscure!

I left a comment on Daylight. I'm focused on 1973, and I aim to suck into computerland everything from 72 to 74 (not online, so far). That's where Daylight came in.

So, if you're interested, I have top 100 listings for those years that are notable not just for the usual crap and the wonderful gems, but also the really obscure ones that even I can't place. Try me out.

Keep it up.

Regards
