Milder To Mulder, Jack In The Can
I'm astonished that hardly anyone has downloaded either of the Longdancer albums - they're really very good (if you like early 70s UK soft-rock with acoustic guitars and nice harmonies).
Of course, little brother Barry was - and is - the more flambouyant of the Dransfield brothers and, when on form, could be dazzling and magical, but Robin was (is?) a fine singer and a very nice guitarist (with a beautiful little Martin acoustic), and his solo gigs tended to be more reliable affairs than his brother's. He contributed one original song (It's Dark In Here) to the classic Dransfield - Fiddler's Dream album, but this is his only solo album. It's absolutely bloody marvellous.
UPDATE (March 2008) - Hux Records are releasing this album on CD very soon so I've deleted the file. Go buy it - it's a real classic.
